EverBloom Foundation

Our Story

We exist so that no family faces the fertility journey alone.

EverBloom is a Nigerian non-profit foundation providing fertility grants, counselling, public education, and advocacy, so that cost, stigma, and silence are never the reason a family gives up.

What We Do

Four pillars. One clear purpose.

EverBloom exists for families who desire children but face barriers of cost, stigma, and limited care. We address those barriers directly, and from every angle.

  • Fertility Grants

Direct financial support for diagnostics, treatment, and surgery costs, so a family's ability to pursue parenthood is never determined by their bank balance.

  • Counselling & Peer Care

Trained counsellors and peer support programs that help families process the emotional weight of infertility with dignity and without shame.

  • Public Education

Awareness campaigns, workplace programs, and community outreach that reduce stigma and build a culture of reproductive health literacy.

  • Advocacy

Pushing for ethical, transparent, and affordable fertility services, and for policy environments that treat reproductive care as a right, not a privilege.

The Founder's Story

From eight years of waiting to building the support she never had.

Rahila Thomas, Founder of EverBloom Foundation

EverBloom was founded by Rahila Thomas, a seasoned power sector leader with over 25 years of public and private sector experience across Nigeria's electricity value chain, and a woman whose personal fertility journey profoundly shaped everything she built next.

Her professional career was distinguished: shaping electricity market design, policy and regulation at the highest levels, advising the National Assembly, and contributing to evidence-based economic reform through the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG). Alongside that public work, she carried a private struggle, a fertility journey that tested her resilience and changed the way she saw the world.

Over time, that private experience became a public commitment. Through her own openness about the journey, she found herself counselling and supporting other women and couples facing similar challenges, helping many of them pursue and realise their dream of becoming parents.

“No one should have to walk the fertility journey alone , or in silence.”

Rahila Thomas  ·  Founder, EverBloom

What she encountered revealed a systemic gap: too many families in Nigeria navigate fertility challenges without access to financial support, ethical care, or the dignity they deserve. Stigma keeps the conversation silent. Cost keeps treatment out of reach.

EverBloom was born to change that. Founded in 2026, the foundation carries Rahila's lived experience into every grant it awards, every counselling session it funds, and every campaign it runs, advocating for a Nigeria where fertility care is ethical, affordable, and treated as a fundamental part of public health.

From lived experience to lasting change

Rahila's openness about her fertility journey, combined with her career in evidence-based policy, gives EverBloom its dual foundation: deep empathy for families, and the governance discipline to turn donor support into measurable, accountable impact.
